Staff Industrial Engineer

Summary

Join Western Digital's Global Operations organization as a highly motivated supply chain professional focusing on flash memory. You will be responsible for maintaining the technology transition plan for NAND-flash products, supporting inventory management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires a minimum of two years of supply chain planning experience and strong communication and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tools like Power BI, Python, Tableau, and SQL is essential. Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a supply chain planning function with exposure to supply / demand / inventory planning
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have ability to lead work, not just follow direction, and work well in a dynamic team environment
• Experience with project management, change management, and innovative business problem solving
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, as well as working experience in Power BI, Python, Tableau, and SQL

Responsibilities

• Own the publish and maintenance of Technology Transition Plan for Memory, Controller and DRAM
• Support the Non-prime Core Team with long-term memory consumption analysis and provide insights to guide non-prime product quals
• Support L3 supply/demand analysis from a non-prime consumption perspective
• Determine optimal inventory strategy and product inventory buffers to meet required customer service levels
• Measure and drive on-time delivery of orders to customer request ship date and to WD promised ship date
