Requirements
- 8-10+ years of experience designing and shipping high-quality enterprise experiences, particularly in ambiguous problem spaces
- Passionate about representing the customer’s voice, motivated by ownership and autonomy, and adept at simplifying complex industries
- Experienced in taking on responsibilities beyond traditional product design, such as writing PRDs, conducting user research, running bug bashes, and creating dashboards to measure user engagement
- Skilled in designing and shipping iterative solutions while aligning with long-term product and UX goals, with excellent attention to detail in usability, visual design, universal design, and content design principles
- Proficient in tools like Figma, JoyUI (by MUI), GitHub/Git/VSCode, Jira, and Heap, with a willingness to explore and implement new tools and processes
- Experienced in partnering with Engineering to ensure designs are implemented as intended, reviewing PRs, contributing to design systems, and occasionally making UX-specific front-end improvements
- Familiarity with designing and running user research studies, both generative and for usability, and leveraging insights to inform the user experience
- Thrive in environments fostering inclusion, collaboration, creativity, experimentation, and personal growth
- Adept at establishing processes from ambiguity, managing concurrent workstreams, and overseeing the successful realization of project goals
- Have a portfolio demonstrating strong visual design skills and intuitive interactions, with particular experience designing data-centric enterprise desktop applications
Responsibilities
- Create a positive impact on the lives of end users by understanding our customers’ unique needs
- Lead projects through the full design lifecycle, work with Product Managers and Engineers to define problems, ideate/test designs, implement solutions, and measure results
- Balance project goals and available resources to define immediate solutions and prepare comprehensive long-term plans
- Own a problem wherever it takes them, even across teams and roles
- Embrace an environment of inclusion, collaboration, and growth
- Help build a culture of creative expression, experimentation, and community
- Investigate the 'how' of implementation to understand limitations, costs, and opportunities
- Suggest new tools and processes to better address day-to-day problems
