Staff Product Manager, Ads Targeting

Summary

Join Reddit's Ads team as a Staff Product Manager for Auto Targeting and Core 1P Targeting. Requirements

• 6-8+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years within AdTech
• End-to-end experience with building Targeting advertising solutions
• A track record of developing and championing product strategy and vision with quantifiable business impact
• A compelling influencer with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and execution skills

Responsibilities

• Define and own the long-term vision and strategy for Auto Targeting and Core 1P Targeting on Reddit (Keywords, Communities, Interests), aligning it with broader business goals and market trends in Ad Targeting in the industry
• Gather insights from advertisers, agencies, and sales to understand their pain points and needs. Translate these insights into innovative automated ad targeting products that drive video views, clicks, conversions, and app installs for advertisers
• Be the owner and champion of Reddit’s Auto Targeting and Core 1P targeting products. Drive energy and excitement for the product area within the organization and help all cross-functional teams deliver holistic solutions that make advertisers successful
• Build and scale Automated Targeting solutions that leverage Reddit’s unique data, driving efficiency and value for advertisers. Develop, prioritize, maintain, and execute the product roadmap for Auto Targeting and Core 1P targeting across all Reddit teams, balancing short-term wins with long-term innovation
• Choose success metrics, set goals, and create accountability within the company. Help them deliver against the roadmap
• Work closely with engineering, data science, design, user research, sales, marketing, legal, and other teams to ensure smooth product development. Act as the glue that keeps stakeholders aligned and on track
• As a senior member of the Product Management team and the product owner of a business line, you’ll regularly communicate across functions and the entire ads team, including frequently presenting to C-level executives
• Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and competitive landscape in the fast-moving world of ad targeting to inform product decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree (computer science, engineering, mathematics, economics or related field)
• Experience with Machine Learning is a strong plus
• Proven experience working on large initiatives, across teams, and on highly cross-functional products
• 8+ years of product management experience in a technology company
