Staff Product Manager

Summary

Join Datavant's Provider Connections product team as a Product Manager and contribute to the development of our interoperability platform. This role focuses on Site Connect, a core component directly connecting to thousands of provider EHRs. You will collaborate with product and go-to-market stakeholders across business units, setting the vision for Site Connect agent technology and evolving our data model. Key responsibilities include enabling integrations and adding value for risk-bearing providers. The ideal candidate possesses 8+ years of product management experience in healthcare data, expertise in data interoperability, and strong communication and project management skills. Requirements

• Have 8+ years in product management, working with healthcare data ideally at a health insurance, health tech, or healthcare services company
• Tackle data interoperability or integration initiatives
• Understand APIs, FHIR standards, and EHR connectivity to write product specs that translate business needs into clear technical requirements
• Know what terms like HL7, USCDI v1, and EDI mean
• Be highly organized and have strong project management skills
• Have high bandwidth and high productivity
• Write exceptional documents, presentations, diagrams, and mockups
• Be a great communicator and have the confidence to lead planning meetings with anyone or any group within the company

Responsibilities

• Set the vision by outlining the data needs of your stakeholders across our verticals and their customers, and work with your engineering partners to develop and enhance our connectivity capabilities
• Be customer centric by obsessing about solving the customer’s problem. You engage with other product teams, their customers and customer-facing teams on a daily basis and see shipping features as just one tool in your toolkit
• Be decisive by identifying current and future areas of ambiguity and providing direction along with reasoning and analysis
• Write great product requirements that provide clarity and motivation for what we need to build
• Drive adoption by working closely across an organization
• Be a leader through example and attitude
• Operate like an owner with a “no job is too small” attitude, doing what is needed to make your product and Datavant a success
