Requirements

• Several years or more experience in building, scaling and maintaining web services built in Java
• Experience building, scaling and maintaining secure distributed systems utilizing message queues (Kafka)
• Experience with cloud architecture (AWS), containerized application development (Docker) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• Ability to share technical details with clarity both in a written and in-person manner

Responsibilities

• Providing mentorship and coaching for the developers on your teams
• Applying deep understanding of tooling and best practices around testability, maintainability of code to the projects
• Delivering projects that are monitored, traceable and debuggable
• Driving technical decisions for your teams and bringing those technical experiences to the architectural forums at Jane
• Championing use cases that ensure the safety and security of our customers
