Staff Technical Program Manager

Summary

The job is for a Staff Technical Program Manager at Eventbrite who will help define and prioritize the backlog at the strategic level, partner with engineering teams to understand deliverables, and drive Agile maturity in the infrastructure team. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of program management experience, is comfortable with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, and has a bachelor's degree in a technical field.

Requirements

• 4+ years of program management experience, ideally in cloud technologies
• Comfort in leading sprint ceremonies like scrum of scrums, sprint reviews etc
• Strong experience with Jira (>3 years) or equivalent Agile tools
• Experience working with teams across geographies
• Deep understanding of web applications and CI&CD processes
• Bachelor’s degree or better in a technical field (CS/Math/Stats/Engineering)

Responsibilities

• Help in defining and prioritizing the backlog at the strategic level
• Partner with engineering managers, directors, and engineers to understand the technology and deliverables at the tactical level
• Put together the metrics required to keep track of all deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in software development or devops or QA is nice to have
• Experience with AWS or Azure based delivery is nice to have
• Microservices or Web API delivery experience is nice to have
