Summary

Join Biogen's 12-week Statistical Programming internship (June-August 2025)! This role offers hands-on experience in clinical trial data analysis and reporting. Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of statistical methods and programming concepts
  • Familiarity with SAS or willingness to learn
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S
  • At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, or university, with a graduation date no earlier than August 2025
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information systems, Data Science, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Learn and apply SAS programming techniques to clean, manipulate, and analyze clinical trial data
  • Create analysis datasets and generate results under the guidance of experienced statistical programmers
  • Gain familiarity with FDA regulations and requirements related to clinical trials such as Clinical Data Interchange standards Consortium (CDISC) standards
  • Learn about CDISC standards, including SDTM and ADaM, and how they apply to regulatory submissions and clinical trial reporting
  • Assist in the creation of analysis dataset (ADaM) and support statistical modeling and reporting efforts
  • Contribute to the development and validation of datasets required for regulatory submissions
  • Help prepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive tables, listings, and figures to summarize clinical trial data
  • Work on structured data to create a database based on which a chatbot can be created to assist users and query from the database

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on exposure to Machine learning/NLP
  • Python programming experience
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills including proven ability to manage some competing priorities
  • Experience of R/shiny and web app development
  • Ability to commit to a full-time, 12-week internship
