Summary
Join Airbnb's Trust Product & Strategic Partnerships team as a Strategic Communications & Content Development Intern for the summer of 2025! This internship offers a unique opportunity to leverage your creativity and contribute meaningfully to a small team focused on building trust within the Airbnb community. You will develop engaging content, presentations, and storytelling to highlight trust initiatives and reach various audiences. The role involves collaboration with multiple teams, incorporating feedback, and analyzing content performance. This is a remote-eligible position for first-year Master's students graduating between December 2025 and June 2026, requiring specific skills in communications and content creation. The internship provides real-world experience, mentorship, and the chance to make a real impact on Airbnb's product.
Requirements
- Undergraduate major or graduate program in Communications, Corporate or Strategic Communications, Public Relations, or similar field
- Previous experience working in internal or corporate communications, content writing, and/or creating decks and briefs
- Skilled at creating short-form media content in different formats including photo editing, video editing, and production
- Strong sense of creativity and desire to innovate β able to devise fun and engaging methods for presenting information effectively, with strong Google Slides/Keynote design skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively through both written and verbal formats up to the executive level
- Excellent writing skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficient time management and organization, with the ability to manage quick and unexpected deadlines
- Work authorization for employment in the United States is required (CPT/OPT is accepted) - visa sponsorship and relocation to the US is unavailable
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various teams within the Trust organization to gather information and insights
- Develop content that highlights the importance and impact of Trust initiatives on the company and its users, ensuring the content aligns with the Trust organization's goals and values
- Develop presentations for the e-team and CEO
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve presentations
- Use storytelling techniques to make complex Trust-related topics more relatable and engaging, for use at Trust All Hands, Monthly Business Review, Monthly Portfolio Reviews, etc
- Develop content that resonates with various audience segments, including employees, partners, and external stakeholders
- Experiment with different formats and media to find the most effective ways to convey messages
- Incorporate current trends in media and content creation to ensure relevance and appeal
- Analyze the performance of content to identify areas for improvement and innovation
- Develop regular updates and communications to keep the Trust team informed about key initiatives and progress
- Collaborate with multiple team members to achieve project milestones
- Communicate with stakeholders across different teams to provide project updates
- Seek and provide feedback throughout the internship
- Actively participate in and contribute to the Trust team and broader Airbnb community
