Summary

Join Airbnb's 2025 Summer Internship Program as a Strategic Finance & Analytics Intern! This 10-week internship (May 19 - August 8, 2025) offers MBA students first-hand experience working with various teams within Airbnb's Finance organization. You'll analyze complex business problems, interpret data trends, and present strategic plans to stakeholders. The internship provides opportunities to collaborate with multiple teams, receive mentorship, and contribute to real-world projects. Ideal candidates possess 3-5 years of professional experience in finance-related fields and strong analytical and communication skills. The position is US-remote eligible, with occasional office work possible.

Requirements

• Be a first-year MBA student (graduating Spring 2026) enrolled full-time at a nationally-accredited business school in the United States
• Have 3-5 years of professional experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate development, management consulting, private equity, investment banking, or business operations
• Possess strong organizational skills and be process-oriented with the ability to define and execute projects with limited guidance and unclear scope
• Have experience forming strong working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders within and outside of finance
• Be able to communicate clearly and persuasively through both written and verbal formats up to the executive level (e.g. Chief Financial Officer, VP of Finance, etc.)
• Possess strong quantitative skills and the ability to analyze complex data to distill insights and provide business recommendations
• Have experience with SQL, financial modeling, data analysis and visualization, and Tableau
• Demonstrate interest in high growth, technology, and/or hospitality companies
• Have work authorization for employment in the United States (CPT/OPT with 2-year STEM extension is accepted)

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business problems and issues using data to provide insight to decision-makers
• Identify and interpret trends and patterns based on business data and market knowledge
• Construct and present forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans to stakeholders and leaders
• Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements
• Collaborate with multiple team members to achieve project milestones
• Communicate with stakeholders across different teams to provide project updates
• Seek and provide feedback throughout the internship
• Actively participate in and contribute to the Finance team and broader Airbnb community
