Join Vanta's Strategic Finance team as a Senior Strategic Finance Manager and become the financial liaison between the team and Engineering and General & Administrative functions. Requirements
- 8+ years of related experience, ideally in corporate finance, financial planning, and analysis (FP&A), investment banking, or investment management. FP&A or strategic finance experience supporting SaaS businesses and/or the tech industry is critical
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides
- Strong capability to tackle projects, extract key insights, and translate them into actionable strategies that drive business impact
- Proven ability to work effectively and establish relationships with business partners
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying financial insights in a comprehensible and engaging manner
- Time and project management skills, the curiosity and drive to dig a level deeper
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted Finance partner for Engineering, Product, and G&A functional leaders. Enable key stakeholders on insights produced and provide recommendations to improve business outcomes
- Manage the forecasting and budgeting processes for Engineering, Product and G&A departments. Conduct monthly budget reviews and spearhead annual/quarterly planning efforts
- Lead financial efforts and provide insights on various projects such as forecasting product delivery costs, pricing and packaging strategy, professional services modeling, and many more!
- Provide mentorship and facilitate the growth of the Strategic Finance team
- Prepare recommendations on incremental investment opportunities by weighing financial and strategic trade-offs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SQL and NetSuite
- Experience partnering with engineering functions
- A Masterβs degree or higher
