Senior Manager, Strategic Finance

Summary

Join Affirm's Strategic Finance team as a passionate and analytically minded leader to support the growth of Affirm’s top-line revenue. You will be a strategic partner to leaders across B2B and DTC revenue streams, manage a small team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, design and deliver automated dashboards, establish performance metrics, and report financial performance to executives. This high-impact role requires strong technical and interpersonal skills, influencing and presenting to all organizational levels. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in analytical roles with people management experience, advanced financial modeling skills, and exceptional analytical abilities. Requirements

• 10+ years experience in fast-paced analytical roles (strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, data science, analytics, etc.) with prior people management experience
• Strong sense of ownership, intellectual curiosity and an ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capability to navigate cross-functional collaborations effectively and be front and center with company executives
• Advanced financial modeling techniques and abilities with a deep understanding of best financial modeling practices (you should be prepared for a financial model case study)
• Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear, concise reports
• High attention to detail but an equally important ability to see the big picture and evaluate analyses with strategic business context

Responsibilities

• Be a strategic partner to leaders across B2B (Sales, Client Success, and Strategic Partnerships) and DTC revenue streams to drive business outcomes through strategic and analytic support
• Manage a small, yet highly visible team, to drive exceptional results across forecast accuracy, process improvements, partnerships
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (i.e. Product, Growth Analytics, Credit, Revenue and, Merchant Pricing) to drive top line growth through financial support on product development and go-to-market strategies
• Design and deliver scalable automated user and financial dashboards and analytics for cross departmental and executive consumption
• Establish top-line performance metrics and targets, analyze and report realized financial performance to Executives and other company leaders, and drive accountability for results

Preferred Qualifications

Experience and proficiency in SQL, Python or an interest to learn; Experience using Looker or similar BI tool a plus
