Summary

Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or related field
- 4-8 years of relevant work experience in financial modeling and/or relevant analytical roles
- Excellent analytical & technical skills: sophisticated Excel skills and experience in Adaptive are a huge plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain business partner relationships at all levels within the organization
- Ability to produce reports and presentations with accuracy and in an efficient manner
- Exceptional attention to detail, with an ability to organize and self-manage competing priorities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to think creatively and strategically while performing tactical analysis
- Embrace working in a highly collaborative environment
- Ability to take initiative and make decisions in a sometimes ambiguous work environment
- Extremely curious and analytical mindset; not satisfied with easy or convenient answers
Responsibilities
- Develop a detailed understanding of key financial and operational metrics, supporting with analyses to propel Company growth and efficiency
- Act as a key business partner with Editorial leadership to help support brand strategies, build bottoms-up budgets and forecasts, and establish and track key performance indicators
- Lead long-range planning, annual budgeting, and monthly financial forecasting, providing guidance on brand level strategy
- Assist with the preparation of brand level P&Ls and provide key takeaways to brand leadership to help support and provide guidance on their overall strategies
- Manage variance analyses by clearly explaining the business reasons for variances and adjusting forecast models to reflect changes in the business
- Support ad-hoc analyses to assist with strategic planning including brand & project level return analyses
- Create financial models to help support business strategies for Editorial leaders
- Identify and implement various financial process improvements
