
Strategic Pricing Director

Summary
Join Procore’s Corporate Strategy team as a Strategic Pricing Director to drive the development and enhancement of the company’s monetization strategy. You will lead the design and implementation of new pricing and packaging initiatives, working cross-functionally with executive leadership and various teams. Responsibilities include identifying monetization opportunities, evolving Procore’s packaging, designing and launching new pricing architectures, developing data models and financial analyses, defining and evaluating KPIs, and providing pricing expertise on strategic deals. You will also lead a team of pricing managers and/or analysts. This role reports to the Senior Director, Corporate Strategy and can be based in Carpinteria, New York, Austin offices or remotely. Immediate start is preferred.
Requirements
- 10+ years of work experience, in pricing strategy, strategy consulting, and/or product strategy at a leading B2B software/SaaS company and 5+ years of people management experience
- Experience in evaluating, designing, and launching new pricing models and/or packaging strategies in a highly cross functional environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to manage evolving priorities and multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional data analysis and financial modeling capabilities
- Ability to develop deep trust-based relationships across different stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to tailor communications to a broad range of internal and external audiences
- Proven track record managing cross-functional projects
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with executive leadership to identify new monetization opportunities, develop business cases, and drive revenue outcomes for the business through Procore’s pricing and packaging strategies
- Lead the evolution of Procore’s packaging for each of our core markets, in partnership with Product leadership
- Design, test, and launch new pricing architectures, including leading recommendations for how to evolve our current pricing model and/or launch new models
- Lead all aspects of pricing strategy working with Corporate Strategy, GTM Strategy & Product teams to develop insights and recommendations through customer research, price discovery, ROI testing, and price modeling
- Develop complex data modeling and financial analysis scenarios to develop optimize strategies, size potential impacts, and drive decision making
- Define and evaluate KPIs to track pricing performance, leveraging that information to determine the effectiveness of pricing strategies and inform recommendations
- Partner with Deal Desk and other cross-functional stakeholders to provide pricing expertise on large, complex, strategic deals
- Lead a team of experienced pricing managers and/or analysts
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and MBA are highly desirable
