Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Numerate discipline, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects with executive stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Asana, JIRA)
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. This is a key component of the job
  • Experience in preparing comprehensive internal reports to communicate successes, challenges, metrics and outcomes to relevant stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experience in risk management and change management
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope,and within budget
  • Specific initiatives include the delivery of a program of client migrations, rolling out project management software and project management practice
  • Develop business cases and project charters to support key initiatives with input from key stakeholders
  • Following approval process, build and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation and key assets such as RAID logs
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project objectives are met
  • Monitor project progress and changes, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses and benefits stream, ensuring financial accountability
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or PMP certification is preferred
