Join Lightspeed as a Strategic Sales Development Representative (SDR) and play a pivotal role in generating pipeline from high-value leads in NoAM Retail. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to generate qualified opportunities, contributing to revenue and growth goals. Proactively identify and target strategic accounts, qualify leads, and conduct outreach through various channels. Leverage CRM tools and data analytics to track progress, assist in building sales strategies, and continuously evaluate market trends. Meet targets for qualified leads and provide regular updates on lead generation activities. This role requires 2+ years of experience in sales development or sales support, a proven track record of meeting targets, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a sales development or sales support role, preferably in a B2B SaaS, technology, or enterprise-focused environment
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation targets
- Strong understanding of sales cycles, sales methodologies, and lead qualification frameworks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with senior decision-makers
- Ability to build relationships quickly and strategically with potential clients
- Self-starter with a proactive, can-do attitude and a passion for driving results
- Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and target strategic accounts using a mix of research, industry trends, and internal tools
- Qualify Strategic inbound and partnerships leads to ensure they meet the ideal customer profile (ICP)
- Conduct in-depth outreach through calls, emails, social media, and other channels to generate qualified leads
- Leverage CRM tools and data analytics to track leads and pipeline progress
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand business goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for each target segment
- Assist in building and refining sales strategies for top-tier prospects and key verticals
- Continuously evaluate market trends, competitors, and customer pain points to tailor outreach strategies effectively
- Leverage insights from conversations to understand client needs and pain points, feeding this information back to the sales team
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads, meetings booked, and other key performance metrics
- Provide regular updates and reports on lead generation activities, sales efforts, and key account progress
