Summary
Join dLocal's Corporate Development & Strategy team as a strategy athlete to contribute to the company's growth in 40+ emerging markets. You will build and maintain dLocal's 3–5 year strategic plan, identify secular trends in global payments, and pressure-test strategic narratives. The role involves global pricing strategy revamp, market prioritization, cross-functional strategic workstreams, and building financial models. You will also size TAM/SAM/SOM, support investor messaging, and drive alignment across various teams. This position blends high-level corporate strategy with hands-on strategic finance and analytics, requiring you to move between frameworks, data, models, and executive conversations.

- Exceptional structured problem solving; can create frameworks from messy questions
- Advanced financial modeling skills (Excel or FP&A stack): scenario, sensitivity, unit economics, contribution margin, pricing waterfalls
- Ability to interrogate data quality, reconcile multiple sources, and get to “decision-grade” numbers
- Writes and presents clearly to execs; builds persuasive decks and models that tell a story
- Can move stakeholders from debate to decision
- Comfortable with ambiguity and global, fast-moving environments

- Build and maintain decision-grade financial models alongside Finance, linking volume, pricing, take rate, cost-to-serve, and margin outcomes
- Develop scenario and sensitivity tools for new geographies, product bets, or commercial structures
- Size TAM / SAM / SOM by country and vertical; tie to revenue and gross profit potential
- Support investor messaging with data-backed strategic insights (working with IR and finance)
- Produce crisp strategy memos, board materials, and exec readouts
