Strategy & Operations Manager

Summary

Join finmid as a Business Operations Manager in Berlin or remotely, playing a pivotal role in identifying and solving critical business challenges. You will develop and execute strategic plans, build operational processes for growth, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires 5+ years of experience, including management consulting or investment banking, and experience in fintech, SaaS, or financial services. You will need proven stakeholder and project management skills, experience leading cross-functional teams, and strong collaboration skills. Requirements

• 5+ years of total experience, including 2+ years in Management Consulting or Investment Banking, and 1–2+ years in Strategy or Business Operations within fintech, vertical SaaS, or Financial Services
• Proven track record in stakeholder and project management, including direct client interaction
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in product-centric environments
• Strong collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders
• Deep understanding of complex operational processes and how to scale them
• Executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders, including at the C-level
• Operational mindset with a focus on clear vision-setting and tight process execution

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to solve critical problems across our business, whether in our supplier and vendor network, for customer onboarding and success, or within back office operations
• Build a deep understanding of our product and business requirements and how we can now shape what we will deliver in the years to come
• Develop and oversee operational processes that will facilitate growth and work at scale
• Constantly review data to gain a deep understanding of the effectiveness of our processes, product, and partners to ensure that performance is in line with SLAs
• Collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment daily and coordinate delivery of solutions with internal stakeholders, including Product/ Tech, Legal/ Compliance, Risk, Capital Markets, Growth, etc
• Help build a team that can support our growth over the following years

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working closely with product teams is a plus
