Responsibilities

  • Conduct field research by making daily visits to grocery stores, local supermarkets, and other relevant outlets
  • Document and make note of FMCG brands in various categories: Kitchen products (spices, masalas, oils, grains)
  • Food & Beverage (packaged food/beverages, cold drinks, milk, candies, snacks, sweets, juices, ice creams, coffee, meat, etc.)
  • Household utility products (cleaning liquids, laundry detergents, air fresheners, disinfectants, insect repellents)
  • Toiletries (soaps, shampoos, shaving items, skin creams, dental care products)
  • Health & Wellness (OTC medicines, health drinks)
  • Interact with store owners to gather information on distribution and sales of these products, including: Brand age
  • Location of headquarters
  • Monthly sales volume
  • Distribution across Taluks
  • Capture photos of promotional materials such as point-of-sale collateral, wall paintings, hoardings, hand notices, etc
  • Identify leads from advertisements on local cable TV channels

Student Field Research Executive

Objective:ย To discover and identify hyper-local FMCG brands, cement, TMT bars, and building materials companies across districts in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field research by making daily visits to grocery stores, local supermarkets, and other relevant outlets.
  • Document and make note of FMCG brands in various categories:
    • Kitchen products (spices, masalas, oils, grains)
    • Food & Beverage (packaged food/beverages, cold drinks, milk, candies, snacks, sweets, juices, ice creams, coffee, meat, etc.)
    • Household utility products (cleaning liquids, laundry detergents, air fresheners, disinfectants, insect repellents)
    • Toiletries (soaps, shampoos, shaving items, skin creams, dental care products)
    • Health & Wellness (OTC medicines, health drinks)
  • Interact with store owners to gather information on distribution and sales of these products, including:
    • Brand age
    • Location of headquarters
    • Monthly sales volume

Lead Qualification:

  • Research brands further online to gather additional information including websites and contact details
  • Contact brands/companies to obtain contacts of individuals supervising branding, marketing, or owners

Duration:ย 4 weeks

    • Products: Dairy products under the brand name Tamil.
  • Artos, based in East Godavari - Artos Soft Drinks
    • Products: Soft drinks since 1919.
  • Kurnool Oil, based in Kurnool - kurnooloilsdamodara.com
    • Products: Range of cooking oils.
