Summer Intern

Summary

Join ActBlue's undergraduate internship program and gain valuable experience in politics, advocacy, and online fundraising. The program offers two tracks: Tech and Business. Tech interns support engineering and product departments, while Business interns assist various departments. Interns will receive training, mentorship, and work on diverse projects. The internship is paid, remote, and runs from May 19th, 2025, to August 15th, 2025. ActBlue is committed to diversity and inclusion and encourages applications from all qualified individuals.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program with at least one full academic year remaining after the internship period
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
• Strong commitment to ActBlue’s mission
• Availability to work 40 hours per week from May 19th, 2025, to August 15th, 2025

Responsibilities

• Assist senior staff members in developing applications
• Document and test new applications and features
• Research and investigate a wide range of technical issues
• Proactively learn about new technologies
• Provide administrative support to staff under the direction of the intern supervisor for their assigned department
• Participate in projects and programs designed to develop the intern’s professional skills and benefit the organization
• Join and contribute to department meetings
• As needed, conduct original research and prepare findings
• Build a strong cohort with other ActBlue interns and meet regularly to network and collaborate
• Interact directly with colleagues, clients, and/or other external constituencies as needed for planning or problem-resolution
• Work on other job-related tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Computer science, or other STEM majors, or folks with exposure to and interest in technology, preferred
