Summary
The job is for a Summer Intern in Talent Team at Dev Technology Group. The intern will learn about talent acquisition/recruiting within an agile environment and assist with various aspects of the recruitment process.
Requirements
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior working toward a Bachelorβs degree in human resources, marketing, business administration, psychology, or a related field
- Must be able to commute to Reston HQ for in-office experience twice a week; we do not offer summer internship housing
Responsibilities
- Assist with creating eye-catching job descriptions and posting job openings on relevant platforms and within the ATS
- Observe hiring manager and recruiter strategy meetings
- Assist in sourcing specific technical resources in the federal contracting space through online channels (e.g., job boards, social media platforms, professional networks)
- Research and source available market talent through provided tools
- Review resumes and develop pre-screening questions to assess their qualifications and fit for specific roles
- Communicate with candidates to ensure a positive experience throughout the recruitment process
- Create communication campaigns to reach out to candidates in our Dev Talent Network
- Learn how to build a talent pipeline for difficult-to-fill positions and frequently needed roles and send talent network drip campaign emails
- Communicate and coordinate with employee referrals and Dev Technology alumni
- Assist with contingent recruiting for proposals, format resumes as necessary
- Attend corporate-level meetings to learn about a broad spectrum of areas of the business, such as business development, finance, and project management
- Assist with the college recruiting calendar and planning for the 2026 summer internship program
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Rising senior (strongly preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills preferred or desire to advance Excel skills
- Knowledge of AI tools and how to leverage in talent acquisition
