Requirements

  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior working toward a Bachelor’s degree in human resources, marketing, business administration, psychology, or a related field
  • Must be able to commute to Reston HQ for in-office experience twice a week; we do not offer summer internship housing

Responsibilities

  • Assist with creating eye-catching job descriptions and posting job openings on relevant platforms and within the ATS
  • Observe hiring manager and recruiter strategy meetings
  • Assist in sourcing specific technical resources in the federal contracting space through online channels (e.g., job boards, social media platforms, professional networks)
  • Research and source available market talent through provided tools
  • Review resumes and develop pre-screening questions to assess their qualifications and fit for specific roles
  • Communicate with candidates to ensure a positive experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Create communication campaigns to reach out to candidates in our Dev Talent Network
  • Learn how to build a talent pipeline for difficult-to-fill positions and frequently needed roles and send talent network drip campaign emails
  • Communicate and coordinate with employee referrals and Dev Technology alumni
  • Assist with contingent recruiting for proposals, format resumes as necessary
  • Attend corporate-level meetings to learn about a broad spectrum of areas of the business, such as business development, finance, and project management
  • Assist with the college recruiting calendar and planning for the 2026 summer internship program
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Rising senior (strongly preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred or desire to advance Excel skills
  • Knowledge of AI tools and how to leverage in talent acquisition
