Summary

Join the Movement Labs Summer Internship program for a chance to gain valuable skills and knowledge in progressive electoral and digital organizing. This full-time, remote internship runs from May 27 to August 29, offering 30-40 hours per week. You'll be embedded in one of several departments, receiving training, mentorship, and contributing directly to Movement Labs' mission. The program is cohort-based, providing a supportive environment for learning and professional development. Successful candidates will be passionate about progressive politics, possess strong organizational skills, and be adaptable to a fast-paced environment. The priority application deadline is April 18th.

Requirements

  • Currently in college, or graduating in May/June 2025
  • Demonstrated interest in progressive politics, campaigns, or organizing, through professional experience, volunteering, or coursework
  • Commitment to fulltime work for the duration of the internship, including participation in all internship meetings and trainings
  • Legally able to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Clean, sort, and manage data to support core programs (Data/Tech Team)
  • Support high-volume text campaigns and work with volunteers to engage voters (Operations Team)
  • Create advocacy toolkits and experiment case studies, and gain proficiency in Airtable to manage critical data (Black-Led Organizing Team)
  • Support hiring, conduct security audits, and help with database administration in EveryAction (People Team)
  • Conduct research and manage data to learn how programs' impact is rigorously studied (Experiments Team)
  • Support county Democratic party partners and create new communications materials to ensure down-ballot Democrats get elected in rural districts (Contest Every Race Team)

  • Ability to work independently and manage workload in a remote environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Systematic approach to projects
  • Competence in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and an ability to learn a variety of digital workspace tools quickly

Benefits
