Supply Chain Sustainability Specialist

Summary

Join KOSTAL Group's flagship global business service center in Hungary as a Supply Chain Sustainability Specialist. Support the Head of Global Supply Chain Sustainability and the Group Head of Sustainability in embedding and executing sustainability strategies. Lead initiatives focused on responsible sourcing and supplier engagement across the KOSTAL Group. Develop and manage supply chain sustainability tools and databases. Conduct due diligence and assess ESG risks within the supply chain. Track key metrics and provide data for audits, reporting, and cost-benefit analysis. Deliver clear, data-driven recommendations to enhance supply chain sustainability. This role offers flexible working conditions with remote work possibilities.

Requirements

• University degree in Sustainability, Economics, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience, including 3 years in supply chain sustainability
• Strong MS Office proficiency
• Experience with supply chain due diligence tools (e.g., EcoVadis)
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Passion for ESG and responsible sourcing
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking
• Practical problem-solving and project management skills
• Effective communicator and collaborator across functions

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage supply chain sustainability tools and databases (e.g., EcoVadis)
• Maintain and improve data quality by engaging suppliers and ensuring completeness
• Issue sustainability requirements and updates to suppliers clearly and effectively
• Organize and conduct supplier webinars, conferences, and individual sustainability meetings
• Build strong relationships with procurement, supply chain, and sustainability teams
• Conduct due diligence and assess ESG risks within the supply chain
• Analyze findings, identify trends, and recommend improvements to sourcing strategies
• Track key metrics and provide data for audits, reporting, and cost-benefit analysis
• Deliver clear, data-driven recommendations to enhance supply chain sustainability
• Stay current with industry best practices and ESG standards
• Develop deep subject matter expertise and technical skills as needed
