Sustainability Intern

Summary

Join our growing team as a Sustainability Intern and support the development and implementation of a company-wide sustainability program.

Requirements

• Enrollment in accredited university in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Power BI, Microsoft Power Point (or equivalent software applications)

Responsibilities

• Support analyses and build business cases for project evaluation and design
• Work cross-functionally, specifically with Operations, Engineering, and Commercial teams, as necessary to support the program
• Help to analyze usage information to determine sources and methods of controlling greenhouse gas emissions and reducing water and energy consumption
• Track and assess projects impacting sustainability throughout the company
• Explore emerging technologies and research alternative funding sources to promote sustainability in projects
• Support timely collection of and maintain accurate data on energy, greenhouse gas emissions, water, and waste performance
• Prepare sustainability reporting content aligned with reporting standards, various platforms and customer-specific initiatives
• Manage and enhance systems and processes for monitoring performance through use of utility management systems for tracking and reporting purposes
