System Administrator

Summary

Join Intelerad as a Linux System Administrator and remotely deploy complex applications, minimizing risk and client impact. Collaborate with the team to analyze change requests and implement optimal solutions. Analyze technical procedures to improve efficiency and reliability, focusing on security and compliance. You will install and configure software, handle server additions and upgrades, provide third-level support, and create documentation. This role requires proficiency in scripting, databases, and version control, along with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and 3+ years of system administration experience are required.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent
• Linux System administration and certifications
• 3+ years of system administration experience
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated commitment to taking ownership and delivering impactful results
• Exceptional teamwork abilities, including the capacity to cultivate and sustain both internal and external relationships

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and other common languages
• Familiarity with NoSQL and SQL databases
• Experience with version tracking tools (e.g., Mercurial, Git, RCS)
• Understanding of networking and storage principles
• Proficiency in software development

Responsibilities

• Remotely install and configure Intelerad's software solutions on Linux servers
• Handle complex server additions, software upgrades, configuration changes, and disaster recoveries
• Provide third-level support for complex change management
• Create, update, and enhance documentation
• Identify, assess, and implement process and technology improvements to enhance product delivery
• Develop scripts and automation to enhance system administration efficiency
• Participate in on-call rotation to address emergencies
• Be available to work on weekends, after hours, and holidays when necessary
