System Engineer

Summary

Join Nagarro, a rapidly growing digital product engineering company with a global presence, as a System Engineer. You will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and developing storage/server, backup, and virtualization environments. This role involves contributing to the development of our highly available data center landscape and designing IT landscapes and processes. You will also participate in projects related to data center migration, virtualization, and automation. Furthermore, you will provide 2nd and 3rd level support to existing customers and offer technical advice. This position requires a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Have completed training as an IT specialist or have a degree in (business) informatics
• Have professional experience as a system engineer and knowledge in the following topics: Virtualizations, Operating Systems and Microsoft Services
• Have a solution/process-oriented and analytical mindset and strong methodological skills
• Be fluent in German (min. B2) and English (B2)

Responsibilities

• Analyze, optimize and develop storage/server, backup and virtualization environments
• Further develop our highly available data center landscape and design IT landscapes and IT processes
• Be involved in project topics: Data center migration, virtualization and automation
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support in the area of infrastructure for our existing customers
• Advise their departments on technical problems

Have knowledge or points of contact with the following products: VMware , DELL/EMC Server and Storage Systems, DELL/EMC Networker Backup Environment, DELL/EMC Data Domain, Veeam B&R or similar Vendors
