System Engineer

Summary

Join Nagarro, a global digital product engineering company, and contribute to the operation and further development of a high-volume DNS and mail gateway environment. You will be responsible for the operation, design, and improvement of secure mail and mail gateways, as well as DNS solutions. This role requires analyzing the existing environment and developing solutions to enhance it. You will create and improve automation scripts and troubleshoot serious software errors. The position demands extensive experience in 2nd and 3rd level support and a strong understanding of various technologies.

Requirements

• Possess extensive and general knowledge of signing, decryption, encryption, SMTP, certificates, and LDAP
• Have experience with DNS, DNSSEC, and general firewall rules
• Have at least 5 years of experience in 2nd and 3rd level support
• Have previous experience with BIND, DNSSEC, Compumatica Sec Mail GW, Certificate Management
• Have advanced knowledge of Postfix, Mail Encryption
• Have previous experience with scripting, diagnosis of serious software errors in 1st and 2nd level support
• Have experience with Firewall operation (CheckPoint / Palo Alto)
• Have ITIL Knowledge (ITIL V3)
• Possess communication skills, teamwork, and Customer orientation
• Have good written and spoken English language skills

Responsibilities

• Operate and further develop a DNS and mail gateway environment with a volume of approx. 1000 mails per minute
• Design highly critical and highly complex and individual Securemail and mail gateways, as well as DNS solutions
• Analyze the existing environment with the development of possible approaches to improve it
• Create scripts to automate tasks in the area of DNS / mail, as well as improving existing ones and troubleshooting them
• Diagnose serious software errors in the 1st and 2nd level support and, if necessary, fix them with the supplier
