System Engineer II in India

Summary

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, automating, monitoring, and troubleshooting problems in Accruent’s customer-facing servers and applications. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a related discipline (IS/CS degree preferred)
• 2-4 years of professional hands-on experience in a web-based software environment
• Experience with MS Azure administration
• Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, BASH, T-SQL)
• Experience with building and managing public cloud environments (primarily Azure, but others are useful)
• Experience with troubleshooting operating system level issues (Windows and Linux Operating Systems)
• Experience with troubleshooting web server related issues (IIS, Apache, etc.)
• Familiarity with configuration management technologies such as Ansible, SaltStack, Chef, Puppet, etc

Responsibilities

Design, build, automate, monitor, and troubleshoot problems in Accruent’s customer-facing servers and applications

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications in Microsoft, Linux, database, networking, and cloud technologies highly desired
