Tableau Reporting Analyst

Summary

Join Experian's Digital Insights team as a Tableau Report Developer and play a key role in executing our reporting strategy. You will leverage your expertise to create impactful report solutions, improve insight delivery speed, and enhance operational productivity. Collaborate with various partners to define technical design best practices, bridge the gap between requirements and technical capabilities, and ensure quality data solutions. This permanent, home-based role in Costa Rica offers a chance to contribute to Experian's digital transformation goals and work within a supportive and inclusive culture.

Requirements

• 2 years' experience in business intelligence roles
• Experience with Tableau's advanced features established through hands-on use of the application
• First class knowledge of data visualization best practice and pitfalls
• Experience understanding the perspective and requirements of different partners and areas of the business

Responsibilities

• Create impactful report solutions by improving speed of insight and increasing operational productivity
• Participate in defining our technical design best practice in Tableau reporting and data preparation activities
• Use your business knowledge to help bridge the gap between requirements and technical capabilities
• Use your Tableau knowledge to help convey the art of the possible to our user community, and share your experience with your peers
• Partner with our Enterprise Data Management organization and our IT partners to ensure the delivery of quality data solutions that are the building blocks of our reporting
• Provide regular updates to all team members on project progress, risks, and opportunities
• Ensure quality built into all our reporting solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in using structured query language for data retrieval and transformation purposes
• Experience using Tableau Prep, or other data preparation tools such as Alteryx
• Technical Experience with big data architecture and system integrations
• Experience in developing / supporting financial reporting
