Business Intelligence Analyst

Summary

Join Intuit as a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst and contribute to building, maintaining, and optimizing reporting infrastructure and front-end UI dashboards. This full-time, remote position requires expertise in QlikSense, SQL, and Python/R, with Tableau being optional. You will develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports, design reporting infrastructure, build and maintain codebases, and collaborate with teams to translate data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate possesses strong data visualization, dashboard creation, and business reporting skills, along with experience in data analytics and related fields. This role demands proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and QlikSense, and a strong understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.

Requirements

• Experience: 3-5+ years in BI analysis, data analytics, or a related field
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, QlikSense, and Tableau (optional)
• BI & Reporting Expertise: Strong knowledge of data visualization, dashboard creation, and business reporting
• Codebase & Automation: Ability to build and maintain reporting pipelines for automated insights
• Data Modeling: Understanding of database structures, ETL, and data warehousing best practices
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify business trends, detect anomalies, and recommend improvements
• Excellent Communication: Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present data insights effectively

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize BI dashboards and reports in QlikSense and Tableau (optional)
• Design and manage the reporting infrastructure, ensuring high performance and usability
• Build and maintain codebases for reporting automation and UI development
• Work closely with business and technical teams to transform complex data into actionable insights
• Monitor data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integrity to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Support KPI tracking and business metrics analysis to enhance decision-making
• Develop front-end UI components for data visualization dashboards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in performance tuning of BI tools and data visualization
• Familiarity with data governance and security best practices
• Background in front-end UI development for interactive dashboards
