Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 10 years of experience supporting projects
  • Experience supporting federal IT projects that includes professional support services and software engineering
  • Agile certification (i.e., PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master, Certified Product Owner)
  • Experience with one or more different agile methodologies, including Scrum, Lean, or SAFe
  • Experience documenting and writing things
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence (you know, to document)

Responsibilities

  • Be part of a team that is supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) by disseminating data to researchers who are studying ways to improve the quality and reduce the cost of care provided to chronically ill Medicare beneficiaries
  • Provide technical, administrative, and operational assistance and coordination to assigned projects or task(s)
  • Participate in the development of technical project plans, reports, schedules and administrative reporting
  • Manage risk tracking process
  • Attend customer meetings and serve as client liaison
  • Coordinate the development of deliverables and products
  • Ensure quality assurance of project deliverables
  • Create, update, and maintain a modernization plan for existing IT systems that includes scope, an implementation strategy, schedule, results-oriented goals, and measures
  • Conduct analyses of previously implemented systems, ensuring each system is meeting customer and business needs, and identify areas for innovation
