Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree accounting, or a related field
  • Prior Big 4 or Regional accounting firm experience
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Ability to work in a β€œhands on” basis in a fast-paced private equity environment
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Β  Strong business acumen and the ability to align financial strategies with overall business objectives
  • Detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Work with third-party tax advisors to coordinate and provide support for the timely delivery of all domestic and international corporate income filings for all legal entities of the company
  • Aid in the preparation of annual income tax provision workpapers
  • Work with outside specialist in preparing annual transfer pricing documentation
  • Prepare account reconciliations for various direct and indirect tax accounts
  • Assist in integration of acquired entities from an income, sales, property, and VAT tax perspective
  • Prepare and file all US state sales and use tax returns on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, as required using our outsourced provider
  • Prepare state apportionment schedules
  • Research/respond to inquiries from taxing authorities
  • Monitor Tax mailbox and escalate issues as needed
  • Gather information for company responses during tax audits
  • Assist in development of a worldwide tax calendar
  • Prepare estimated income tax filings
  • Collaborate with and support global cross-functional teams in business development, legal, finance, accounting and treasury
  • Monitor pending or new tax legislation
  • Respond to tax inquiries and audits
  • Carry out other projects, as requested

Preferred Qualifications
