Summary

Evergreen Services Group is seeking a Tax Manager with a strong background in tax compliance and accounting to manage tax functions in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment. The role involves managing tax compliance, developing tax strategies, preparing financial reports, supporting audits, cap table management, international taxation, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• 4-6 years of experience in tax accounting
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and international tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience with cap table management and equity distribution

Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations in the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, and other relevant jurisdictions
• Tax Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize tax positions and minimize tax liabilities
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Audit Support: Manage tax audits and correspondence with tax authorities, providing necessary documentation and responses
• Cap Table Management: Oversee and manage the company’s cap table, ensuring accuracy and compliance with equity distribution
• International Taxation: Handle international tax issues, including transfer pricing, tax treaties, and cross-border transactions
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial and tax regulations, staying updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax and compliance activities
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including finance, legal, and external auditors

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a private equity-backed environment is a plus
