Summary
Join Correlation One as a Teaching Assistant (TA) and contribute to our virtual Cybersecurity training program. The 25-week program requires TAs to participate in live lectures, provide individual office hours, collaborate with instructors, and host review sessions. Successful candidates will possess one year of professional cybersecurity experience (or two years without a degree), a post-secondary degree or equivalent, and a CompTIA Security+ certification. The role is remote, offering flexibility. TAs will support approximately 25-30 learners, ensuring their progress and satisfaction. The position involves a maximum of 16 hours per week.
Requirements
- One year of professional experience in the Cybersecurity field with a degree or approved credentials; If no related degree, 2+ years of professional experience in the Cybersecurity field
- Previous teaching or learner support experience, ideally in a remote environment
- Post-secondary degree or other credentials in Cybersecurity or a related field
- Must have a CompTIA Security+ certification
- This role is remote and can be located anywhere
Responsibilities
- Required to participate in live lectures (during the dates and times provided during onboarding), providing helpful and fast responses via Slack
- Provide individual office hour sessions for learners each week. You may set these hours within our parameters at your availability and convenience
- Work with fellow TAs and Lead Instructors on ways to improve the learner experience
- Host review sessions, lab sessions, or other support mechanisms to ensure the progress and satisfaction of your learners
- Respond to your learnersβ questions and messages on Slack within 24 hours
- Attend a weekly TA meeting with C1 staff members
Preferred Qualifications
A CySA+ certification might be considered
