Team Lead

Summary

Join Auros, a leading cryptocurrency market maker, as the Head of Arbitrage. You will directly manage a major trading book during Asian hours, lead and mentor a team of 6-8 traders, and oversee all arbitrage trading activities. This role demands strong leadership, deep financial market understanding, and a collaborative approach. You will be responsible for improving existing strategies, developing new ones, and solving complex pricing problems. The position requires high-frequency trading experience, a quantitative background, and proficiency in coding (Python, C++). Requirements

• Have experience in the design, development, testing and coding of trading strategies
• Experience managing a team of traders in a fast paced environment
• Be comfortable assisting with the design, development and improvement of complex risk management systems
• Experience coding with Python, C++ or other relevant languages
• Bachelor's Degree or above in Math, Computer Science, Statistics, Quantitative Sciences and Engineering or related disciplines
• Have worked in high frequency trading, with strong quantitative backgrounds who think in terms of probabilities and expected value

Responsibilities

• Directly manage one of our major trading books during Asian hours, including all operational and trading-related issues as they occur in real-time
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 6-8 traders, with oversight of entire Arbitrage desk, including risk management, optimization of trading activity and performance
• Continuously look for additional sources of edge through analyses of our trading and the market
• Work closely with the rest of our global trading and middle office teams to ensure trades are booked correctly, and reconciled between front and back office systems
• Liaise with our key exchange counterparts on margin requirements, coin borrows, trade breaks, technical issues and market making requirements
• Lead the improvement of existing trading strategies, as well as research/development of new strategies
• Lead idea generation, strategy formulation, back-testing and implementation
• Solve complex cryptocurrency derivative pricing problems
• Develop models and tools to automate daily tasks
• Develop and utilise proprietary back-testing and simulation tools
• Investigate crypto-currency market related products - collect, organize and analyse the best solutions to match the requirements of our various trading strategies
