Team Lead

Summary

Join Auros, a leading cryptocurrency market maker, and lead a team of developers building core trading applications. You will design and implement high-performance applications, collaborate with trading teams, and ensure system reliability and scalability. This role requires extensive software development experience in a high-frequency trading environment, strong knowledge of exchange APIs and low-latency protocols, and excellent leadership skills. Requirements

• Extensive experience in software development (ideally gained in a top tier HFT firm), especially working on highly performant, complex backend systems, microservices architectures and database interactions
• Strong knowledge of exchange APIs, websockets, and low-latency communication protocols
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages (C++ and Python required)
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Deep experience building systems that sustain high levels of performance while dealing with massive loads of data
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers focused on building our “core systems” applications that form the foundation of our trading system
• Design and implement robust, high-performance trading applications while balancing priorities such as time to market and required features
• Collaborate with trading teams to understand and meet their connectivity requirements
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our “core systems” trading applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex connectivity issues in a fast-paced trading environment
• Set team strategy, plan workloads and act as the conduit connecting business priorities with team outcomes
