Team Lead, Engineering

Join TrustYou's international Engineering team as a Team Lead and work remotely from Germany or Spain. You will lead and mentor a team of up to 8 engineers, focusing on delivering high-quality results aligned with business priorities. Requirements

• More than 10 years of extensive professional experience in software development, especially working with complex systems
• Over 3 years of hands-on experience in people management and leadership roles with engineering teams
• A solid understanding of software architecture, web platforms and big data technologies
• Aligned with Agile and Lean software development principles
• Implemented engineering best practices and prioritized quality over quantity

Responsibilities

• Own the team’s commitment to delivering results in alignment with business priorities, timelines, and engineering best practices, along with risk management
• Ensure the visibility of the team’s activities and smooth communication with all the different stakeholders
• Collaborate with the Product Managers and ensure the quality of the product’s input, building consensus for scope selection and delivery schedules
• Collaborate with team members to establish clear goals and empower them to achieve successful delivery of their tasks
• Take ownership of keeping the features and products available, stable, and reliable in production
• Provide technical knowledge and foster the growth of your teammates through supporting knowledge-sharing activities and cross-skilling programs
• Ensure a positive team experience and understanding each individual’s concerns and needs
• Develop and gather improvement proposals in terms of ways of working, technology, and tools
• Lead by example and contribute hands-on towards the team’s goals when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experienced in leading and/or building SaaS platforms
• Experienced in leading and/or building Data analytics products
• Proficient with Python, Kafka or modern frontend frameworks like React
