Tech Lead

Summary

The job is for a Tech Lead at SmartCoin, a financial inclusion organization that aims to provide financial services to the underserved middle/lower-income segment. The role involves extending the backend platform, working with the founding team and a team of IITians, and mentoring junior members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Experience in designing systems from scratch keeping in mind scalability and security aspects
• Solid knowledge of design patterns in JAVA, DS and algorithms
• Ability to setup monitoring and optimization of MySQL Db queries
• Ability to mentor junior members of the team by giving regular feedback and code reviews

Responsibilities

• Extend our backend platform to provide personalized financial experiences
• Work directly with the tech-focused founding team and a team of IITians on scalable backend architecture

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with our tools (Scala, Kafka, Bigtable, BigQuery)
