Remote Tech Lead

Summary

Join RecargaPay as a Team Lead Engineer to lead a team of engineers, align technology strategies with company objectives, and ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget. This role is for a candidate with a degree/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines, experience in team leadership, knowledge of web applications, Domain Oriented Design, microservices architecture, Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, AWS, asynchronous programming, and profiling and performance tuning Java applications.

Requirements

• Degree/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines
• Experience in team leadership
• A solid understanding of how web applications work, including security, session management and development best practices
• Knowledge of Domain Oriented Design
• Proven ability to design complex distributed applications designed for high performance and throughput, while being scalable and reliable
• Development experience using Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka and AWS
• Experience with asynchronous programming
• Proven experience in profiling and performance tuning Java applications and using monitoring tools to monitor production applications

• Establishes the team's objectives and project goals, ensuring alignment with the company's broader objectives
• Supervises and leads a team of engineers, ensuring that project deliverables are met on time and within budget
• Actively involved in recruiting, training and developing team members, fostering a productive and growth-oriented environment
• Collaborates with other technical leaders to align technology strategies with company objectives, contributing to the overall technical direction
• Effective in defining and achieving clear team objectives and project milestones
• Leadership in guiding the team to successful project delivery, within time and budget constraints

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of microservices architecture is an advantage
