Summary

Join Remedy Product Studios, a rapidly scaling technology company, as a highly skilled software engineer. You will partner with stakeholders, build and maintain cloud infrastructure (primarily GCP), develop CI/CD pipelines, and optimize application deployments. Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional software development experience building complex software systems
  • Excellent communication skills (C1 level English minimum)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a technical team
  • Proven ability to develop cloud-based solutions using best security practices, with a strong focus on DevOps using infrastructure as Code (Terraform), GCP and AWS
  • Strong backend development skills, particularly with Python (FastAPI)
  • Proficiency in API backend development
  • Knowledge of message queues (e.g., SQS, SNS)
  • Database design skills (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, AWS RDS)
  • Ability to configure CI/CD pipelines for application deployments in cloud environments (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions)
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders, to understand application needs and contribute to architectural discussions, offering informed suggestions and negotiating solutions
  • Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure (primarily GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployments in cloud environments (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions)
  • Automate pipeline deployments, tooling implementations, and infrastructure setups
  • Optimize application deployments for Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) like performance, scalability, and robustness
  • Provide in-depth technical troubleshooting, defect investigation, remediation, and root-cause analysis
  • Contribute to estimation and planning for projects/solutions/work items
  • Develop and prototype new tools and practices as part of our architecture offerings
  • Embrace and thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and a degree of uncertainty
