Join Rubrik as a team-oriented Senior Accountant of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting to assist in the SEC filing process and solve technical accounting issues. Requirements

• Bachelor or higher degree in accounting
• CPA qualification
• 3+ years in accounting related experience with minimum 1 year in Big 4 public accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail, organized, sense of ownership and positive “can do” attitude
• Problem-solver and analytical thinker
• Ability to adapt to change and learn quickly, work independently and cross-functionally, and project manage and prioritize work to achieve objectives and timelines

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of our Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, and Form 8-K including review of iXBRL tagging
• Perform accounting and close activities which may include stock-based compensation accounting, capitalized software, cloud computing arrangement, debt, and any other nonstandard transactions
• Understand and apply relevant new accounting pronouncements, complete related technical accounting memos and financial impact assessment, and assist in assessing financial and operational implications
• Ensure work performed adheres to the SOX
• Assist with the management of our external financial statement reviews and audits
• Recommend and assist in the implementation of process improvements, as appropriate, to standardize and streamline processes while ensuring compliance with US GAAP
• Assist with or be responsible for other duties and ad-hoc projects
