Technical Architect - IoT & Cloud Solutions

Summary

Join our Group’s IoT Center of Excellence as a Technical Architect for a 4-month renewable, fully remote contract (European timezone). You will play a key role in defining and evolving the target architecture for our Azure-based IoT platform, ensuring architectural alignment across business units. Responsibilities include defining architecture blueprints, evaluating technologies, leading design reviews, overseeing API design, and monitoring platform performance. You will collaborate with internal and external teams, support governance processes, and act as a technical point of contact for stakeholders. This role requires 6+ years of experience in software and system architecture with significant IoT and cloud project exposure, deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, and strong .NET development skills.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IoT architecture and cloud-native design
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure , including Azure IoT , Azure DevOps , and AKS
• Strong background in .NET development , API architecture, and system integration
• Familiarity with security standards, data flows, and high-availability cloud patterns
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps frameworks
• Ability to communicate architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• 6+ years of experience in software and system architecture, with significant exposure to IoT and cloud projects
• Comfortable working in complex enterprise environments involving multiple teams and technologies
• Fluent in English
• Strong problem-solving mindset, stakeholder engagement skills, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain architecture blueprints for IoT and related digital solutions
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and frameworks aligned with business and technical needs
• Lead design reviews and provide guidance on architecture-related topics to development and DevOps teams
• Oversee API design and integration standards
• Monitor platform scalability, security, performance, and availability
• Support project scoping, technical validation, and cost estimation
• Act as a technical point of contact for stakeholders, including business, IT, and partners
• Contribute to architectural governance and decision-making processes

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Power Platform , particularly Power Apps , is a plus
