Summary
Join our team at nDreams as a Technical Artist to drive forward cutting-edge visuals, provide technical guidance, and define art workflow and pipelines. This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week) working fully remotely within the UK. The salary is competitive and dependent on experience.
Requirements
- Experience in Unreal & Shader Graph
- Experience in Maya/Blender
- Experience in HLSL
- A degree or equivalent qualification & at least 4 years of experience in real time game development
Responsibilities
- Performance and accountability β a commitment and focus to producing work of the highest standard to time and budget
- Communication and relationships β ability to work collaboratively with the wider team at elevation
- Ability to troubleshoot in cross-discipline areas that fall into their experience, including lighting, VFX, and Environment Art
- A strong set of core skills - including a strong understanding of developing performant shaders in Unreal, an understanding of Niagaraβs particle system-VFV optimizations, as well as optimizing systems and structures within game engines for different platforms
