Summary

Join our team at nDreams as a Technical Artist to drive forward cutting-edge visuals, provide technical guidance, and define art workflow and pipelines. This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week) working fully remotely within the UK. The salary is competitive and dependent on experience.

Requirements

  • Experience in Unreal & Shader Graph
  • Experience in Maya/Blender
  • Experience in HLSL
  • A degree or equivalent qualification & at least 4 years of experience in real time game development

Responsibilities

  • Performance and accountability – a commitment and focus to producing work of the highest standard to time and budget
  • Communication and relationships – ability to work collaboratively with the wider team at elevation
  • Ability to troubleshoot in cross-discipline areas that fall into their experience, including lighting, VFX, and Environment Art
  • A strong set of core skills - including a strong understanding of developing performant shaders in Unreal, an understanding of Niagara’s particle system-VFV optimizations, as well as optimizing systems and structures within game engines for different platforms
