Technical Communicator

Summary

Join Metabase as a Technical Communicator and create engaging educational materials to help our customers master Metabase. You will develop tutorials, guides, and videos for Metabase Learn, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and lead webinars and workshops. We seek a passionate individual with strong technical expertise in data science, engineering, or application development, and 3+ years of experience creating educational materials for technical audiences. Requirements

• Enjoy helping people and solving their problems
• Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in at least one of the following: Data science or analytics, Data engineering, Application development
• Solid understanding of database concepts and data landscape
• 3+ years of experience of developing engaging educational materials for technical audiences in data analytics, data engineering, or related fields
• You are an expert in at least one of: Technical writing, Technical curriculum development, Creating technical videos

Responsibilities

• Create tutorials, guides, and videos for Metabase Learn
• Collaborate with our Product and Success Engineering teams to identify training opportunities
• Review and improve documentation to proactively address customer education needs
• Lead educational webinars and workshops
• Design onboarding materials for our customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of markdown, HTML, git
• Experience with video editing or graphic design
• Fluency in multiple languages (this is helpful as our users are worldwide)
