Summary

The National Safety Council is seeking a Technical LMS Administrator to manage their enterprise-wide Learning Management System. The role involves system maintenance, user support, content management, data reporting, quality assurance, documentation, and special projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience, an associate degree in Information Technology or a related field, strong communication skills, analytical skills, time management skills, technical proficiency, and familiarity with MS Office and basic HTML/CSS.

Requirements

  • Education: Preferred associate degree in Information Technology, Educational Technology, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing or administering LMS and e-learning platforms
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities for effective user support
  • Analytical Skills: Basic understanding of data analytics for report generation and analysis
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office and basic HTML/CSS is a plus

Responsibilities

  • System Maintenance (20%). : Perform routine checks and updates to ensure the LMS and e-learning platforms are running smoothly
  • User Support (20%). : Provide technical support to end-users, including password resets, course enrollments, and troubleshooting
  • Content Management (20%). : Upload and update e-learning content and resources in the LMS
  • Data Reporting (15%). : Generate and analyze reports on user engagement, course completion, and other relevant metrics
  • Quality Assurance (10%). : Test new courses and updates for functionality and compatibility within the LMS
  • Documentation (10%). : Maintain user guides, FAQs, and other support documentation
  • Special Projects (5%). : Assist the Sr. LMS & eLearning Manager in special projects as needed
