Technical Manager

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Technical Lead, IT Manager, or in a similar role
• Experience leading a full development team, including developers, QA/Automation, UI, and others, in day-to-day operations (not just development)
• Proficiency in Typescript, Node.js
• Experience with React
• Familiarity with GraphQL and RESTful APIs
• Experience with relational databases
• Strong understanding of performance optimization techniques
• Excellent asynchronous communication skills and Advanced English
• Ability to design complete solutions (front-end, back-end, data, and integration) and effectively justify the approach
• Skilled in defining rules and processes for version control, code reviews, secure development practices, sprint planning, testing, automated testing, instrumentation, DevOps, and more
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, emphasizing automated testing
• Experience with lean development practices
• Understanding of observability principles

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in releases, monitor results, and iterate for continuous improvement
• Guide a development team in translating high-level technical solutions into discrete requirements and actionable engineering tasks
• Review code and provide engineers with guidance on architecture, functionality, and readability
• Work closely with Product counterparts to identify technical solutions that align with business goals and use cases
• Promote simplicity and adherence to standards without over-engineering
• Take broad requirements and proactively lead follow-up discovery and communication to define detailed solutions
• Clearly outline tentative solutions to facilitate efficient reviews and discussions
• Guide complex solutions from initial proposal to clear execution plans for junior engineers
