Technical Manager

Summary

Join Rackspace as a Director of Technical Support and lead a team in designing and architecting a new solution for Rackspace Data Centers. This role involves migrating a client's infrastructure to the newly designed solution. The position is 100% remote, with a preference for candidates located on the West Coast or in Texas. Occasional travel is expected. This is a unique opportunity to manage a strategic customer account, lead infrastructure operations, and manage a large portfolio of projects. The role requires significant experience in team management and expertise in various technical fields.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field of study
• Overall, 12 years of related experience
• Minimum of seven years of team management experience
• Successful background working in one or more of these fields: Networking, Technical Customer Success Manager, Technical Account Manager, Cloud Engineering, Data Center Management
• Expert understanding of SLA's
• Ability to manage SLA's

Responsibilities

• Manage a strategic customer account
• Lead Infrastructure operations in support of large and complex environments
• Manage a large portfolio of projects with complex SOW’s
• Manage delivery & operations of Managed Services contracts with stringent SLA
• Lead large teams of talented individuals
• Lead the teams in case of high severity incidents
