Technical Product Manager

Summary

This remote position requires expertise in Capital Markets to design and lead the roadmap for differentiating Mortgage Capital Market products and solutions. You will leverage your understanding of the mortgage capital market landscape and work with complex datasets to develop innovative solutions. The role demands strong product management skills, technical proficiency, and experience leading cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for product strategy, market analysis, stakeholder management, technical leadership, project management, performance monitoring, and compliance. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
• MBA or advanced degree
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in mortgage capital markets or a related field
• Good understanding of technical aspects of software development, data analysis, and financial modeling
• Familiarity with tools like SQL, Python, and Tableau
• Experience leading teams and managing complex projects
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Experience with mortgage finance, capital markets, and regulatory requirements
• Knowledge of MBS and MSRs is necessary

Responsibilities

• Drive the prioritization and development of product vision, strategy, and roadmap for mortgage capital markets products, including mortgage-backed securities (MBS) and mortgage servicing rights (MSRs)
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product decisions. Stay updated on trends in mortgage rates, housing markets, and regulatory changes
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, sales, marketing, and clients, to gather requirements and ensure alignment. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams
• Work with engineering teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality products that meet market needs like risk management tools, and data analytics solutions for mortgage portfolios
• Oversee the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring delivery and adherence to quality standards. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
• Track product performance, analyze important metrics, and implement improvements to enhance product effectiveness and user satisfaction. Use data-driven insights to improve product features, and functionality
• Ensure products comply with relevant regulations and industry standards
