Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive product management experience with a focus within ad tech
- 5+ years of experience as a technical product manager
- Strong understanding of header bidding, ad serving, OpenRTB, ad tracking, and performance measurement
- Experience with Prebid, GAM and other relevant ad technologies
- Proven track record of launching successful ad tech products or features
- Engineering experience in JavaScript/Node
- Experience writing SQL queries
- Strong awareness of industry participants including SSPs, DSPs, and other vendors
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and interpreting ad metrics
- Experience efficiently communicating findings and progress to cross-functional teams, senior leadership with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to understand complex systems, identify interdependencies and can recognize how platform components interact with each other, while anticipating downstream effects of product decisions
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of technical features and initiatives
- Proficiency in project management tools (Jira) and understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Excellent communication skills demonstrated by active listening, collaboration and an openness to ideas and concepts presented by others
- Proven ability to conduct thorough research and be an innovative thinker, which involves anticipating, identifying, defining, and solving complex problems
- Availability to travel to on-site locations for team retreats, leadership meetings and the annual all hands events approximately 15% of the time

Responsibilities
- Define clear project milestones, timelines, and dependencies, ensuring on-time delivery of ad tech features and initiatives
- Help define and drive revenue enhancement strategies by innovating new monetization pathways and creating value-driven revenue streams for our publishers
- Optimize technical infrastructure to ensure seamless ad experiences across platforms
- Partner closely with individual contributors, engineering leadership, and stakeholders to align technical product strategy with broader company goals
- Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimization, driving initiatives to improve ad monetization across our platforms
- Define and track KPIs for ad tech initiatives, using data-driven insights to monitor performance, recommend iterations, and drive continuous improvement
- Identify and address technical risks that may impact project timelines, quality, or performance, and work proactively with engineering teams to mitigate those risks
- Communicate progress, issues, and roadmap changes effectively to cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency
- Collaborate with the Director of Innovation, other PMs, and stakeholders to explore emerging technologies in ad tech and assess their potential impact on our business
- Stay up-to-date with evolving ad tech standards, protocols, and best practices to ensure the platform remains competitive and innovative
- Foster a culture of experimentation and technical advancement, encouraging the team to continuously explore new opportunities for growth and improvement
- Availability to travel to on-site locations for team retreats, leadership meetings and the annual all hands events approximately 15% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ad optimization algorithms, and machine learning, a plus
- Experience with Snowflake, a plus
- Knowledge of advertising industry regulations and data privacy standards, a plus
- Familiarity with data systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS), or SRE practices, a plus
