Summary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of leading and delivering Java based software development projects
  • Proven ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and customer needs
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate alignment across stakeholders
  • Adept at building trust and transparency with both clients and internal teams
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or portfolios in dynamic environments
  • Must have experience providing project management in the government contracting services space and dealing with a variety of stakeholders at various levels of project engagement
  • Proven ability to lead Agile projects through the full software development lifecycle
  • Strong interpersonal skills; excels at building trust with clients and team members
  • Experience with Agile collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence or similar
  • Ability to prioritize team success over individual recognition
  • Fast learner with a demonstrated ability to adapt to new business areas

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams
  • Support Requirements Definition, Security, Data, and DevOps groups
  • Manage multiple small teams (6-8 personnel total)
  • Conduct people management duties such as performance reviews
  • Oversee initiatives from inception to completion
  • Create and manage delivery schedules and release plans
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Track and resolve program-level issues and impediments
  • Facilitate collaboration across internal teams, partners, and various stakeholders
  • Participate in program-level communication and reporting
  • Translate complex technical topics for both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent
