Technical Project Manager

Summary

Join the OpenSSF team at the Linux Foundation as a Community Operations Manager, where you'll coordinate community activities, manage membership operations, and ensure adherence to policies while fostering diversity. This role involves coordinating Technical Initiatives, developing OKRs, managing central services, and frequent travel.

Requirements

• Comfort with frequent travel (~2x per month on average)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the operation of OpenSSF Technical Initiatives
• Report on and track Technical Initiatives' operational status and identify any needs for coordination with other OpenSSF or LF staff
• Develop and coordinate organization OKRs and measure progress
• Maintain and execute processes to fund Technical Initiatives as approved by the OpenSSF Technical Advisory Council in coordination with the Governing Board
• Manage membership operations such as onboarding and status checks
• Create plans and manage the execution of Linux Foundation central services (e.g., Events and Marketing) to support the community
• Invest specific attention into growing the diversity of the OpenSSF community
• Ensure that Linux Foundation and OpenSSF policies are adhered to, and best practices are adopted
